The Hidden Chapter Book Club gathers monthly to read, sip, and discover. We'll discuss Nobody Wants Your Sh*t by Messie Condo and explore the Library's dome.

Tucked away in a cozy corner of the library, The Hidden Chapter Book Club gathers once a month to read, sip, and discover. We’ll discuss a new book each month and explore historic library spaces and collections overlooked by the everyday visitor.

We'll discuss Nobody Wants Your Sh*t by Messie Condo, then go behind the Library's dome and discover the history of this unique space, which functioned as the "attic" of Milwaukee Public Library and Milwaukee Public Museum. Learn about preservation with a special collections librarian. 

Limited copies of each title will be available for checkout at the Wisconsin Avenue circulation desk in the month leading up to the meeting.

Meet up in the Old Board Room, first floor Rotunda, bookseller corridor, last door on the right.

Please note that the dome is only accessible by staircase.
