If you have people in your life that you cherish, plan ahead to minimize future costs and reduce the stress of settling your affairs. Estate planning is the method by which you control the distribution of your property through beneficiary designations and legal documents such as a will or trust. Learn what information to gather to create a plan for the distribution of your personal property.
The planning ahead series will help you make important end-of-life decisions so your loved ones won’t have to face them alone. Topics include getting started with creating advance medical and legal directives, estate planning, and exploring choices in end-of-life care.
