Innovation and Learning LabLearn about choices in end-of-life care, including the difference between palliative care and hospice care.
Although it can be difficult to think about the end of life, doing so is important in helping you make the choices that best fit you. Learning the difference between palliative care and hospice care is a good step toward determining which type of care you may want in the future. Reflect on traditions, culture, and family systems to further explore your choices in end-of-life care.
The planning ahead series will help you make important end-of-life decisions so your loved ones won’t have to face them alone. Topics include getting started with creating advance medical and legal directives, estate planning, and exploring choices in end-of-life care. Presented by the University of Wisconsin-Madison Division of Extension -Milwaukee County.
