Presented in partnership with The Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center and the Anne Frank Center at the University of South Carolina. Anne Frank: A History for Today, an acclaimed international exhibition developed by the Anne Frank House (Amsterdam). Through personal photographs, intimate family history, and historical context, visitors encounter Anne Frank not only as a symbol of the Holocaust but as a thoughtful, creative young person whose voice still speaks to the world. Pairing photographs of the Frank family with historical images, the exhibit shows how targeted people were affected by the political actions of individuals and groups during World War II. This exhibit will be on display at Central Library on second floor Main Street through August 11.
