VirtualComing to America Book Club
This book club approaches American identity as an evolving and ongoing conversation, using fiction and non-fiction to explore questions of identity, assimilation, language, cuisine, generational change and other aspects of life in the United States.
December's selection is Good Things:Recipes and Rituals to Share with People you Love by Samin Nosrat. Request a physical copy here, or request the e-book or e-audio book on the Libby library app. Sign into the app with your library card. Register in advance for this program. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
Note: If you are a cook, make a recipe or two from the book and tell us why you chose it, how it turned out and, if you're willing, to have it on hand during our book club session to show off. If you're not a cook, choose a recipe you'd want someone else to make for you and tell us about that!
