Representative Huffman will be in conversation with Congressman Mark Pocan to discuss his bestselling book, No Prophets, and the perils facing democracy in the united States, and around the world. Books will be for sale from Boswell Book Company, and an audience Q&A will follow the presentation. This event is free and open to the public.

Jared Huffman is a Humanist and the only member of Congress to admit he does not believe in gods. He founded the Congressional Freethought Caucus with Congressman Jamie Raskin to promote sound public policy based on reason, science, and moral values. He lives in San Rafael, California.

Congressman Mark Pocan was sworn in as the U.S. Representative for Wisconsin’s second congressional district in 2013 following 14 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly. In the 119th Congress, he serves on the House Appropriations Committee, where he sits on the Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Subcommittee; and the Financial Services and General Government Subcommittee. He also serves on the House Foreign Affairs Committee.
