Learn the basics about environmental lead contamination, what it is, what it does, and how to minimize its effects.

Come and learn from Community Activist and Director of Outreach for COLE (Coalition for Lead Safety and Health Homes Project) Orean Harper about what lead is, what it does, and how to minimize its effects. This interactive session will include information about the history of lead use in Milwaukee's homes and its continuing impact on residents of all ages and demographics. In addition, she will share solutions that directly address the ongoing issues surrounding lead in homes, schools and other local buildings.
