The Me I Choose to Be celebrates the power of Black children to choose who and what they want to be. Natasha Tarpley has written over 15 books, including the best-selling picture book I Love My Hair, and is a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship. Her work promotes self-love and finding the magic in ordinary things. This event is open to families with children ages 3 and up.
