The Milwaukee Public Library's Central Library has been a part of Milwaukee's historic downtown for over 125 years. Please join us in celebrating the architectural significance, the history, and the growth of the library as one of Milwaukee’s most cherished institutions. View some 19th, 20th and 21st century images of the changes that have occurred over time to public and staff spaces, including rarely seen areas of the library. Light snacks and beverages will be provided.
