Participants will experience a hands-on acupuncture or acupressure treatment with expert practitioners from Milwaukee Community Acupuncture.
Acupuncture is the insertion of very fine needles into specific points on the body and is used to treat a variety of conditions. The needles are solid, sterile, and disposed of after each use. They are inserted into the muscle and surrounding tissue, just below skin level. Participants will learn about this traditional Chinese medical practice and have the opportunity to experience a treatment in a group setting.
