Hang the Moon by Jeannette Walls  A historical novel set in Prohibition-era Virginia, following Sallie Kincaid, a bold and determined young woman who returns home to reclaim her place in a powerful but divided family. As she navigates family loyalty, small-town politics, and the moonshine trade, Sallie discovers her own strength and challenges the limitations placed on her by society.
