The Personal Librarian by Marie Benedict  Tells the true story of Belle da Costa Greene, a brilliant and ambitious woman who became J.P. Morgan’s personal librarian in the early 1900s. While curating one of the world’s most important art and manuscript collections, Belle hides a powerful secret—she is a Black woman passing as white in a segregated America.
