Milwaukee Women of the 1800's - Untold Stories

Focusing on women who are buried at Forest Home Cemetery who were living in Milwaukee in the 1800s and their contributions to our city’s history.

History @ Noon: Lunchtime Journeys Through the Past:

Join us for an enriching and relaxed lunchtime history program at the library! Bring your own bag lunch and enjoy a lively, engaging discussion of fascinating historical topics, all while connecting with fellow history enthusiasts.  Light refreshments will be provided.

Each month, we'll explore a different theme, period, or historical event, uncovering the stories that have shaped our world. Whether it's a deep dive into local history, the lives of historical figures, or pivotal moments in global history, you’ll be transported through time while sharing a meal with others.

This informal gathering is perfect for those who enjoy learning in a welcoming and casual atmosphere. All are welcome – no prior history knowledge required. Just bring your lunch, your curiosity, and a desire to connect!

Funded by a gift from the estate of Naomi B. Strehlow.
