Join us at the Mitchell Street Branch for the Backyard Book Buffet, our Summer Reading Program-themed community meal.

Why let kids have all the fun? Milwaukee Public Library is here to help all ages celebrate summer with the best books around! Join us at the Mitchell Street branch for an outdoor Backyard Book Buffet. Check out our Book-By-Book Summer Reading Program, with a picnic themed meal, games, and oodles of books to delight every reader! In the event of inclement weather, this program will be held indoors. All supplies will be provided. Registration is required at mpl.org/CommunityKitchen. Walk-ins welcome if space permits.
