As part of the Milwaukee Public Library's Earth Month programming, join us for an exciting pot-decorating workshop at the Washington Park Branch Library. This workshop will be led by the local award-winning artist and illustrator, Aaron Boyd.
No prior art experience is necessary, and people of all ages are welcome to attend. All supplies will be provided, including small pots and art supplies.
Aaron is a Milwaukee native and award-winning artist who has illustrated dozens of books, and is recognized by the International Literacy Association and the Children’s Africana Book Award. His pop-up book Acuity’s Storybook Year was inducted into Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. Aaron is the author and illustrator of Giving Good, a recently published story for children which was honored by the Cooperative Children's Book Center on their annual best books of the year list for 2025.
