Explore why Mother Goose and poetry are essential to early literacy and ways you can use Mother Goose with young children.

Discuss the inclusion of childhood rhymes of different cultures and backgrounds as well.     
 
Tier 2 continuing education: 2.0 hours  
 
This Ready to Read program is geared toward early care and education teachers, but all interested adults are welcome! 
 
Registration required; adults only; no children, no exceptions.  
 
Check in begins 10 minutes prior to class start time so workshop can begin as scheduled. To receive credit, attendees must arrive on time.
