What’s it really like to serve on a jury? Hear firsthand from people who’ve served, along with everyone they would have encountered in the courtoom. Circuit Judge Carolina Stark, Milwaukee County Assistant District Attorney Joy Hammond, Attorney Ann Bowe, Phillip Harvey of Men Mending Men in the Community will talk about their roles in what occurs before and during a trial, and answer questions from attendees.

Beginners and Experts welcome! The group meets twice monthly, from 5:30-6:30 on the second and fourth Monday of each month. Start a new project or bring one in progress and come work on it in community. We welcome knitting, crochet, tatting, sewing, mending or other fiber-related projects. Fiber Artist Ruth Shank will be on hand every second Monday to help with getting you started on something new, provide technical advice on a project-in-progress or simply visit. Some supplies on hand for new knitters (basic knowledge is assumed), but feel free to bring your own if you have them.
